Gambling Interface and Website LayoutThe Sportingbet interface has been given numerous facelifts since we first reviewed it, with the latest overhaul made in March 2014. The changes have resulted in a cleaner, simpler interface with the popular odds displayed considerably more concisely than in previous types.
Sportingbet provides followed the lead of Luxbet and its parent William Hill by using a horizontal rather than vertical menu to display checklist of sports. Clicking on the ‘ All Sports’ link displays the full list. The sports are listed using a combination of by popularity and alphabetically, which is confusing in the beginning, although we like the fact that the alphabetised sports are listed from left to right rather than top down with Luxbet.
In place of the usual list of activities on the left are a few small speedy links, which has freed up space for a wider central column. When you click on a sport the sub-categories will be displayed below the sports direction-finding panel, followed by a concisely displayed list of odds. Simply clicking the title of a fixture exhibits all available odds for this fixture alongside a list of various other fixtures for that round.
Unlike previous variations, the betting slip is certainly not automatically displayed at the time you select a bet.
